Distance learning programmes within TEE
The Faculty of TEE have set up 2 new exciting distance learning programmes:
- MSc International Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- MSc International Project Management
Key Facts
- The growth in the international marketplace has created a global demand for practitioners with capabilities and competencies in the management of complex projects, whilst appreciating project distance, time, currency exchange rates, and customs rules and regulations.
- The MSc International Project Management course is designed to provide an understanding of complex project management methods, resource development, project and process management, international business and information strategy, and global operations, alongside research methods and professional development.
- This course includes a mix of practical work-based learning; problem-based learning and online group collaboration. This develops analysis, synthesis, decision making skills and the ability to cope with the challenges of international business operations. Delegates are encouraged to identify and appreciate the skills necessary to interpret the effects of managing international projects with constantly increasing legislative controls, with respect to safety, legislation, environmental and green issues.
Why Choose Us?
- These courses are designed to accommodate those individuals who are seeking an alternative to traditional campus-based study where they are in control of their learning location and the pace of their study. The choice to learn online is increasingly popular with busy executives and professionals who want to enhance their career prospects but find themselves restricted by their employer’s reluctance to release sufficient work time off to study.
- Delegates will become one of a new generation of Logistics and Supply Chain practitioners, with a wider, more creative, flexible skill set. This includes an understanding of internal and external global customer requirements, Logistics and Supply Chain practice and the interpersonal skills necessary to liaise and work in cross-cultural operational teams.
- Throughout the course there will be opportunities to relate practical real-life problem based learning to industry and commerce. In addition, to apply new technologies and techniques to solve present and future problems, in an international arena.
- The School has strong links with Chartered Institutes of Logistics and Transport and Purchasing and Supply and other professional bodies such as the European Logistics Association and the UK Sector Skills Council Skills4Logistics.
