Scholarships

British Canadian International Education Ltd works with a number of universities that offer a wide range of scholarship options to students. Most of the scholarships are based purely on merit. Some are based on merit and financial need and others on nationality. The BCIE offices located in your countries can offer you the most up to date information on these. Below is just a selection of the scholarships currently available:

1 York

As we start 2020, I just wanted to alert you that our £7,000 Academic Excellence Scholarships will be opening later this month (on 24 January), with a deadline of 30 April 2020.  Please note that we have increased the award level for Nigerian students this year (it was previously £5,000).

These scholarships are for undergraduate and taught Masters applicants and are applied as a discount on the tuition fees in Year 1.

(Top undergraduate students can be awarded £5,000 x 3 years of study).

Almost all degree programmes (except the Medical School and some Erasmus or online degrees) are eligible for the award.

At Masters level, a number of departmental scholarships are also available.  Most have the same 30 April deadline.

Since candidates must have an offer letter (conditional or unconditional) before they are eligible to apply for funding, I would encourage you to submit applications by mid-March 2020 if your students are interested in these scholarships.
